| Tenchi Muyo
Tenchi Muyo is based around Tenchi Masaki, a high school student. Tenchi accidently releases a "demon" named Ryoko from a cave near his grandfather's shrine in the mountain. After Ryoko realizes who Tenchi really is (his ancestor was the one who locked her in the cave), she begins to play and terrorize Tenchi. But in fact she's in love with him. Luckily, Tenchi isn't really a normal guy either. If he can just figure out why he isn't normal that is. To make matters worse, the crown princess of Jurai, Aeka, is hunting Ryoko. Sasami, Aeka's little sister, barges in and joins in the fun, along with a Galaxy Police called Mihoshi and Washu, Ryoko's mother and also known as "The greatest scientist in the universe".
I haven't finished this series yet, so I can't say too much about it, but from what I've seen so far, it's promising. The characters are very funny most of the time and there are some cool action scenes as well. Ryoko's voice is kind of sexy too, I wonder if anyone's thinking the very same? |
